How SlushWise handles submissions, analytics, cookies and third-party services.
Information you provide
Drink corrections and community recipes are stored for moderation. Recipe submissions include the contributor email address so an administrator can review the entry or ask a question. Email addresses and administrator notes are never displayed publicly.
Service data
Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request times to operate and protect the website.
Google Analytics
With your permission, SlushWise uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and interactions such as searches and completed calculations. We do not send names, email addresses, free-text notes or search text to Analytics. Analytics is not loaded until you accept analytics cookies.
Advertising and cookies
SlushWise may use Google AdSense to fund the service. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalise advertising where you have consented. Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are offered consent choices through a Google-certified consent platform.
External services
Drink searches and nutrition references may use Open Food Facts. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ privacy policies.
Your choices
You can accept or reject analytics in the SlushWise cookie message and reopen that choice at any time using “Analytics choices” in the footer. Advertising choices are managed in Google’s consent message. To request removal of a submission, use the submission form and identify the entry without including unnecessary personal data.
Changes
This policy may be updated as SlushWise adds services or legal requirements change. Last updated 21 July 2026.
