How to prepare it

  1. Check your own bottle shows 0 g sugars per 100 ml.
  2. Use a well-chilled bottle and dissolve the sugar fully before it enters the machine. Add the drink gradually because carbonation can create foam.
  3. Select your machine above and measure the displayed correction.
  4. Dissolve additions fully, stay below the fill line, then select the Slush preset.

Troubleshooting

An “Add Sugar” warning usually means the real-sugar concentration is still too low. Recheck the batch volume and weigh the remaining correction with the Rescue calculator.

Dr Pepper Zero FAQs

Why will Dr Pepper Zero not freeze?

It contains sweeteners but almost no real sugar, which changes how the liquid freezes.

Can I use syrup instead of granulated sugar?

Yes, if you know the syrup sugar value and account for the extra liquid.

Which setting should I use?

Start with the Slush preset and adjust texture only after the mixture begins freezing.
